Footage Firm Clips

To promote their large selection of commercial stock footage clips, the Footage Firm offers a number of free, high quality, DV-AVI video clips. They also own and operate a companion website known as StockFootageForFree.com which offers a number of additional, free DV-AVI clips plus a number of free Quicktime (.MOV) clips, including both standard definition and high definition clips. The Quicktime format is not supported by Movie Maker and those clips need to be converted to a compatible Movie Maker format (such as .wmv or DV-AVI) before they are imported into Movie Maker (see this page on PapaJohn's website for more info on converting .MOV files).

Previews and download links for their free clips are provided in the tables below. Please note that use of these clips is subject to the terms outlined in their license agreement.

To download the clip, click on the clip's name in the table below and you will be taken to the web page where you can download the clip. Free registration is required before you can download any of these clips.
